Health Declaration and Insurance

Both countries strongly recommend purchasing travel medical insurance that covers your trip, due to the high local medical costs. If you need to bring prescription medications, it is advised to have an English note from your doctor. A particular note for New Zealand: all travelers must complete the "New Zealand Traveler Declaration (NZTD)" online within 24 hours before their flight departure, which is a mandatory step.
